On September 20, participants of the RISE project – migrants and community sponsors (volunteers) – took part in a study trip to Trakai. The trip was organized to provide an opportunity for participants to meet, engage in conversation, and get to know each other better. Such activities are designed to foster mutual understanding and to support the integration process by adding practical experiences to the project’s work.

To date, the RISE project has recorded 33 community sponsor registrations, with 15 sponsors successfully trained. A total of 13 matches between migrants and sponsors have already been made, while 3 more are currently in progress. In addition, 40 migrants have joined the project, and together with their family members – 65 individuals.

Alongside the matching process, the project also continues to organize thematic events aimed at strengthening connections between newcomers and local communities.
